Clinical Governance: The board’s key responsibilities

This roundtable will explore the key responsibilities and range of approaches in relation to governing the quality of services in health care organisation. Every board member needs to have a clear understanding of the role of the board in developing appropriate strategy, monitoring and driving a culture of quality in their organisations. This roundtable will provide an opportunity for board members to discuss and debate various approaches and is suitable for board members who are new to health or who would like to further develop their understanding of clinical governance.

 

Alison Brown will facilitate this roundtable.  Alison is Lead Consultant for the ACHG, and PhD candidate at the School of Population and Global Health, the University of Melbourne researching governance in the healthcare setting.
